Xiaomi has released the final beta version of MIUI 12.5 for Redmi Note 7 and Note 7S, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Xiaomi Mi CC9e.
As noted by the developers, after the beta of MIUI 12.5 version 21.4.21, these models will no longer receive new beta versions, both as part of open and closed testing.
This does not mean that smartphones will stop receiving updates altogether. However, you shouldn’t expect any new functions for them. Smartphones will continue to receive Android security updates as well as MIUI stable releases with features that have already been tested in advance.
All of these models were released in mid-2019 with Android 9 Pie installed out of the box. They subsequently upgraded to MIUI 12 based on Android 10. After the beta program was discontinued, smartphones should still receive stable MIUI 12.5 both in China and internationally. This is expected to happen at the end of May
